EasyDNA introduces allergy and intolerance test specific for cats | EasyDNA UK

International DNA testing company EasyDNA launches a new test to inform cat owners about their pets’ sensitivity to food, environmental, and artificial allergens.

15 January 2023 – Over the years, EasyDNA has put together a line of animal DNA tests to equip owners and breeders everywhere in giving their animals care of the highest quality.

Staying true to their commitment to pets’ health and wellbeing, the company is pleased to introduce a new feline DNA test: the Cat Intolerance Test.

Unlike other feline conditions and diseases, intolerances and sensitivities are often overlooked because of symptoms that can be difficult to detect. Thus, if a cat is suffering from undiagnosed symptoms, it is worth considering the possibility that it may be sensitive to certain food and non-food substances.

The Cat Intolerance Test analyses 148 food items, such as milk, cheddar cheese, and ground beef, and 52 non-food items like catnip, dust, and grass. These substances are common and often found in a pet’s immediate environment.

Understanding a cat’s reactions to these substances just might be the key to unlocking its best quality of life.

“Undetected intolerances and sensitivities can lead to even more serious health problems,” a company spokesperson commented. “The Cat Intolerance DNA Test is an accessible and affordable tool that promotes a cat’s health and helps prevent unnecessary complications in the future.”

EasyDNA’s Cat Intolerance Test is available for only £79, with reliable results available within 3-5 business days. Clients are then encouraged to go over these results with their pets’ veterinarians.

EasyDNA also offers other cat DNA tests, such as the CatCheck (Feline) Genetic Disease Test and Feline PKD Testing.
